Privacy
Your files stay in this browser
Pagekeep is a static page. PDF compress, QR codes, image convert, and images-to-PDF run on this device. There is no account to create.
What happens to the file
The file is read with the browser file picker and processed in memory on this device. The compressed PDF is handed back as a download on the same page. Closing the tab, or choosing another file, drops that copy. Pagekeep has no server endpoint that accepts a PDF or an image.
Images to PDF
Pictures you choose stay in this browser and are placed one per page. This tool does not recognize text, and it does not extract or fill invoice fields.
What we do not collect
There is no signup, no email field, and no analytics call that includes a file name, QR text, or file contents. Each tool can store a success count in this browser (local storage) so the page can show how many times you used it here. That number never includes the PDF, the image, or the QR text.
When the original is returned
If a smaller file cannot be produced, the download is the original bytes, including any metadata already in the PDF. When a smaller file is produced, document info such as author and title is cleared and embedded pictures may be recompressed. Page text stays in the file as text.
Advertisements
The page shows a labeled ad slot. This version does not load a third-party ad script. If an ad client id is configured later, that script could set its own cookies. It still would not receive the PDF.
Limits
Files over 25 MB are refused, and PDFs over 100 pages are refused, so the tab is less likely to run out of memory. Password-protected PDFs are not opened.
